WHY FASHION?

Sports fans, fashion gurus & ordinary people alike are all united by their love of wearing sports jerseys, whether they know it or not. People are drawn to jersey culture as it allows them to access a real community - jerseys spark conversations of rivalry, camaraderie & tactical analysis of last night's game. They resemble entire cultures of cities around the world.

The lines between sports & fashion are blurring. Why? Because sport & fashion have one major thing in common - they allow people to express themselves in a uniquely creative way. They exude passion. With our designs, we aim to encourage discussion around women's sport, as we believe this is the first step in creating change. Change the topic, change the perspective, change the game.

WHY WOMEN'S FOOTBALL?

Women's football provides a home for those who do not feel welcome elsewhere. It's a place for people to feel seen, supported & safe to be themselves. It's raw. It's genuine. It's undeniably entertaining. It's inspiring witnessing how women have fought for the right to express themselves & achieve their dreams.

But there's also a lot of room for the women's game to grow. That's where we come in. If you wish something existed, then create it yourself. We want people to wear women's jerseys. To talk about women's games. To learn about what is happening in the women's sports space. We believe that the best way to make these things happen is with fashion, with creative statements that cannot be ignored.

WHY SUPPORT TSS?

Communities are born through authenticity. People need to feel an authentic connection with someone, or something, to establish a long-lasting bond. Our designs are the link between football fans & the authenticity of the women's game. We open peoples' eyes to the magic of being apart of a sporting community built on inspiration & grit.

These stories, organisations & initiatives are the reason why women's sport continues to grow, whilst also highlighting how far it has to go to reach it's full potential. It has come to our attention that most fans are unaware of these organisations who are advocating for, improving & challenging the game to make it a better place for all. We aim to change that.

FROM A SPARK, TO A FLAME.

  • IT ALL STARTED WITH A SPARK.

    I've always had a passion for sport and I just knew there had to be a better way to share the stories that inspired me to dream bigger than I ever thought I could. This got me thinking - how could I contribute to important discussions in women's football AND give others the opportunity to do the same, all whilst highlighting the creativity, beauty & character of the game?

  • FASHION IS THE WAY FORWARD.

    Fashion has allowed me to navigate my own identity & express myself. I noticed athletes were getting more involved in the fashion industry, from matchday arrival fits & modelling for major brands, to red carpet events. I quickly realised that fashion is the way forward. It allows people to make game-changing statements without saying a single word.

  • EMPTY PITCHES.

    Back in October, 2023, I had no clue where to start. I picked up my Apple pencil & started sketching out designs for existing companies, with the intent of showcasing how women's sports initiatives can be made into stylish, subtle statements for everyday wear. Fed up of pitching these designs with no response, I decided to change my approach entirely.

  • ONE BIG EXPERIMENT.

    I began experimenting with logos, branding, fonts & handles until I landed on "The Sideline Stitch". Sidelines are really intriguing to me, because whilst we're made to believe there's a huge difference between those inside the lines & those watching from the outside, at the end of the day we're all humans with a passion for the same game.

  • NAVIGATING SOCIAL MEDIA.

    At first, putting hours of work into my posts for only a handful of likes became really demoralising. At this stage I was also posting athlete outfits, sports fashion news, and occasionally an original design, but I always wanted the designs to be the focus. And as soon as I made that shift, the TSS community began to grow.

  • THE DESIGNS DREW THEMSELVES.

    As a rapidly developing industry, women's football is filled with inspiring stories, initiatives & organisations, if you know where to look. The designs drew themselves. They started to get noticed by athletes & brands - my work was reaching the right people. It touched the right people. That was enough to make me realise this was something I had to persue.

THE FINAL WHISTLE.

We make limited edition designs with an endless legacy. The statements we make with our bold designs inspire conversation, growing the women's game using the voice of creativity. We seek to unify people from all walks of life under a community that sees the inner beauty and moving character of women's sport, with a bond that will last a lifetime.

FAQs

Why are your products only available for pre-order?

All limited edition TSS collections are made-to-order. A clear timeframe is set with each release to allow you to be apart of the first round of people who will get to wear each design! This guarantees we get our quantities right for our community and ensures no one misses out (if they order within the designated window!)

** The first pre-order window for Arquitectas de Barcelona is March 11-25th

Does TSS ship worldwide?

To begin with, TSS will only be shipping domestically across Australia and to the UK, as we are a small business. However, we understand that football is a global game with a worldwide community of passionate fans and our ultimate aim is to expand to other countries as soon as possible!

How long does shipping take?

Once the designated window for pre-order closes, it will take roughly 4-6 weeks for your new statement to be shipped to you.

But DO NOT WORRY, we will keep you updated along the way :)

When will you release the rest of your designs?

As a small business, we're taking everything one step at a time, and we highly appreciate your patience as we get our official store up and running! Our AdB jersey is the first of many more game-changing statements to come, and we cannot wait to share these with you. In the meantime, ensure you're subscribed to our email list to be the first to know about every TSS launch!

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

Please note that TSS does not offer change of mind returns.

As TSS collections are made-to-order, we cannot offer an exchange due to ordering the incorrect size. Please refer to the size chart on each individual product page as sizing can vary for each product.

Each item undergoes a quality check to ensure it satisfies our high standards. In the extremely unlikely event of a product being damaged or faulty, please get in touch via the Contact Us Form at the bottom of our homepage ideally within 10 days of receiving your order.
